Friends Forever

Liya and Rose are best friends. One day Liya called Rose to come over to her house. Rose agreed and they played a lot together that day. Rose also wanted to show Liya her toys. So, she asked Liya if tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. she will come over. Liya agreed. That day Liya’s friend Oliver called her and asked if she would play PS4 with him tomorrow. Without thinking about her promise to Rose, She said “yes! I will!”. The next day, at at 5:30 p.m. she started to play PS4 with her friend Oliver. The clock struck 6:00 p.m. and Liya’s alarm rang. Liya turned the alarm off saying “I will go to Rose’s house tomorrow”. Just after 10 minutes, sharp at 6:10 p.m. Liya’s phone rang. Liya picked up her phone. “Hello,” she said. “Hi, Liya I am Rose. Aren’t you coming it’s already 6:10 p.m.?” Rose asked. “I…will come over to your house tomorrow…as I am playing games…” Liya replied and hung up the phone. Rose felt very bad. “How could she do that! Just for playing games she will leave her BEST FRIEND! She is no more my friend!” Rose said to herself angrily. The next day Liya asked Rose if she will come down to play in the park. Rose replied quickly “No! I am busy”. “What are you doing that you are soo busy. That you can’t even spend time with me? YOUR BEST FRIEND?” Liya asked. “I am playing games,” Rose said. Liya said angrily “Games are not that important!” Liya said. “That’s what I tried to tell you yesterday but you hanged up!” Rose said. “I… was…” Liya stammered. “I need to go bye,” Rose said. “Wait Rose! I am sorry I will never say no to you even if I am playing games. I am sorry pls forgive me…” Liya said quickly before Rose could hang up. “Of course, you are my BFF. I want to tell you something that my mom told me yesterday,” Rose said. “A true friend is someone you fight a lot with and become friends again,” Rose said. Liya became sad. “And yes! I will come down in the park!” Rose said. Their fighting didn’t stop and neither did their friendship…
